_{As someone who is surrounded by people all the time, Valentina is used to always talking to someone. Topics of any kind are welcome to the half-elf, whether it be about your not-so exciting day or drunken slurs by drunk men. Valentina is very much dependent on company of any kind. She is a great listener, often lending an ear to anyone in need, and would give out advice when she is sure it is right. When it comes to actually lending them a helping hand, however, she would not extend it to just anyone. Talking is the limit of how much she'll hear you out. One must be very close to her in order to make her move and actually do something. When it comes to picking sides, there is no question that Vee would pick her family and her closest peers over everything. She is very selfless in that regard, and will do anything to make sure they are safe. Literally anything. Just the thought of them getting hurt worries her, which is one thing she does not like feeling. To get rid of that, she will do what she can even if she has to do it in secret. As much as possible, however, Vee prefers to see that things go well smoothly, so she is very nitpicky with decisions and she doesn't take 'no' for an answer.} 

History: 

<sub>Valentina's father, Cormac, had been once been a mercenary who had often traveled back and forth between Koben. Results would show that he is good and diligent when it came to his job. At some point, however, Cormac had grown to have desires. Desires he'd had before as a teen that he repressed due to keeping his responsibilities for his kin. He had grown weary with his job, and for once, he wanted to settle down. He wanted to experience the fun in life for once, and after talking to his pals back in Valsk about what he felt, they had suggested that he take some time off and travel.

He was reluctant at first, but this turned out to be the best decision of his life. It was in Koben when he was travelling that he met Arianna, a beautiful dark elf who had so charmingly invited him for drinks. Cormac found himself enthralled by the lady's various stories about her travels. She was a traveler going around Koben, meeting people here and there until she grew weary of the ordeal and settled down in Koben. Explaining that he was on the same boat, and after days, months, years of continuously seeking out Arianna's company, travelling back and forth to Valsk and Koben, with his persistence, he found himself asking for her hand. With utmost joy, the two finally found what they had wanted, and wedded the moment Cormac had landed on Koben's lands. They lived a happy life for a while, both experiencing this new perspective in life with an open mind, before Arianna finds herself with a child. Absolutely ecstatic by this, Cormac, then, does everything he can to support Arianna. He had quitted his job, and had ended up working in one of Kobens' bars, finding the job calming and interesting as weary travelers enter and tell their stories in exchange of ale and wine. He comes home every day, talking to both mother and child about the life they were soon going to have.

The light happiness the small family had, however, did not last that long. Complications arose when the baby finally had to come out, and Arianna made Cormac swore that whatever happened, the baby will live. And that he did do when they had to choose between the mother and child. With the unfortunate loss of his wife, Cormac, then, sent himself back up in Valsk, unable to handle staying in Koben, as it was too painful for him. With the child and his wife's ashes at hand, Cormac spent days drinking and wallowing in regret. Thoroughly disappointed with the man's demeanor, after giving him days, weeks of grief, his own mother slaps him hard in the face, and reminds him that he has a child to live for, and his wife would not have wanted to see him wallowing in regret and sorrow like this.

It took everyone's conviction to let me man up and see the baby once more. It took everyone's patience to watch him try; to watch him hold the baby in his arms and rock her to sleep as she continued to cry. It took everyone's strength to not coo at the sight as ther father's face changed from sullen to adoration. The father had cried to his baby that night, who, in turn, started patting his own tear-stricken face. Most likely in joy in seeing her father finally smile, but one will never know with babies.

Throughout Valentina's childhood, despite the lack of a mother figure in her life, Vee had been surrounded by her father's supportive peers. Being big, strong men themselves, they had built her confidence up as if they were her own mother, taking care of her when Cormac was setting up his new pub, and teaching her what needed to be learnt. Vee had a simple life, with simple food on the table and simple men around her, but Vee would never trade those moments for anything else. This built up her love and sense for her small family.

Vee had always been curious about her mother. Oftentimes during her childhood, she would ask her father to tell her over and over again about how he had met her mom. Cormac, aware of what everyone, even his own mother, would say about having a deep relationship with a dark-elf, had no choice but to keep the truth from his daughter. He had kept most of the truth in the story, telling her about how beautiful her mother was both inside and out, and how she had been the most exciting woman he had ever met. The one thing he had to keep, however, was her real name and her true race. He, then, began telling the very same stories Arianna had been telling her, especially those from Estraude. To keep the authenticity of his stories, of course. This was when Valentina had developed an interest in herbs and the interest lasts until present day.

Despite the support from the people surrounding her, Vee could not entirely dismiss the discrimination by older Valski about her race. Still, Vee had learnt how to deal with it with the thanks of her father's fellow men, who continuously tell reassure her that she is a Valski, and all Valski's are family. And thus, life has been well for Vee, who had met a few good people whom she considers are true friends. Every now and then, she helps out in the bar, serving drinks to tired men and giddy housewives. She takes care of kids as well during her spare time to whomever needs to as means of getting extra earnings. To help her father out, of course.

With the attack on Valsk, Vee had been separated from her father due to the fact that she had been hanging out with a close friend of hers. Both girls had been stuck in Valsk, missing the opportunity to take refugee/</sub>
